Objectives of the Society:
i. To promote and advance the cause of Zoology and allied branches.
ii. To promote biological education and research in different fields.
iii. To disseminate scientific knowledge by holding symposia, seminars and discussions.
iv. To popularize the biological science and its benefits by holding meetings and organizing popular talks and science exhibitions.
v. To arrange for production, publication, audiovisuals and other aids including film, film scripts etc. on Biological Sciences
The Zoological Society of Assam (ZSA) is a voluntary organization of persons interested in zoology and allied biological sciences and technology registered under the Society Act of 1860.
